Srinagar, May 20: Publicity Secretary J&K and Incharge Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Central Kashmir, Arif Raja Thursday expressed gratitude to the COVID-19 warriors for doing tremendous work during the ongoing pandemic.
Raja in a statement issued here said that doctors, paramedical staff and other health care workers, who are fighting the pandemic on the frontline, have been risking their lives by treating the patients. “We owe to these warriors. We cannot forget the sacrifices they are rendering at the present juncture,” he said.
Arif further thanked the COVID warriors for doing a tremendous job, saying that Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha too has been mentioning the names of the medicos to appreciate them and encourage them for their work. “To salute the courage and valor of these warriors, the people should cooperate with them by following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in letter and spirit to contain the virus spread,” he said.
