Sonamarg, Aug 21: A tourist from Southern Chennai city died after falling from a temporary bridge at Sonamarg tourist resort of Kashmir Valley.
Official sources said that a female tourist from Tamil Nadu fell down from a temporary bridge at Thajwas Sonamarg. She fell on the sharp-edged stones and sustained grievous injuries.
The female tourist was taken Primary Health Centre Sonamarg where she succumbed to her injuries.
Hospital sources identified her as 54-year-old Sumiti, a resident of Chenai, Tamil Nadu. (KNT)
