Ganderbal, Sep 6: In a bid to fight against the deadly pandemic, the Block Wakura in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal distict has successfully achieved the target of 100 per cent vaccination.
Block Medical officer (BMO), Wakura, Dr Jawaid Zargar said that block Wakura in District Ganderbal has become the first block in Valley to complete 100 percent vaccination target.
Earlier, block Wakura had the distinction of being the first block in whole valley to complete 100 percent vaccination in above 45 year old group and again first in the valley to complete 100 percent sampling of its population, he said.
The credit for the achievement has to go to my dedicated team of healthcare workers from Doctors to ASHA level, he said.
