Coronavirus: JK reports 86 new cases

Srinagar, Sep 13: Jammu and Kashmir Monday witnessed 86 fresh positive cases taking the number of total active cases in the Union Territory to 1,247 while no death was reported in the last 24- hours.
With no more death, the death toll in the UT stands at 4,414 and 86 fresh positive cases reported on Monday pushed the tally of positive cases to 326,990.
Of the exact number of 326,990 cases, 203,681 are from Kashmir division and 123,309 from Jammu division.
Officials said that among 86 new cases, 78 belong to Kashmir division while as eight are from Jammu division, adding that the total number of positive cases in Kashmir division have reached to 203,681 including 200,400 recoveries and 2,246 deaths while as total number of positive cases in Jammu division have reached to 123,309 including 120,929 recoveries and 2,168 deaths.
The officials said that the total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 1,247 including 1,035 from Kashmir division and 212 from Jammu division.
With 124 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 321,329 which is 98.27 percent of the total cases.
“Cases tested positive in J&K include 48 from Srinagar, 08 from Baramulla, 09 from Budgam, 01 from Pulwama, 03 from Kupwara, 00 from Anantnag, 02 from Bandipora, 05 from Ganderbal, 02 from Kulgam and 00 from Shopian in Kashmir division while as 08 from Jammu division include 02 from Jammu, 00 from Udhampur, 00 from Rajouri, 05 from Doda, 00 from Kathua, 00 from Samba, 00 from Kishtwar, 01 from Poonch, 00 from Ramban and 00 from Reasi,” officials disclosed.
Meanwhile, authorities on Monday said that no fresh cases of Mucormycosis popularly known as black fungus was reported in the UT and tally stands at 46.
As per officials figures, 73,159 positive cases including 837 deaths and 71,718 recoveries are from Srinagar, 24,090 including 282 deaths and 23,662 recoveries are from Baramulla, 23,359 including 23,041 recoveries and 207 deaths are from Budgam, 15,383 including 15,164 recoveries and 194 deaths are from Pulwama, 14,294 including 166 deaths and 14,095 recoveries are from Kupwara, 16,476 including 16,250 recoveries and 205 deaths are from Anantnag, 9,679 cases including 9,549 and 101 deaths are from Bandipora, 10,185 including 10,074 recoveries and 79 deaths are from Ganderbal, 11,454 including 11,306 recoveries and 117 deaths are from Kulgam and 5,602 including 5,541 recoveries and 58 deaths are from Shopian.
In Jammu division, 53,069 including 51,883 recoveries and 1,142 deaths are from Jammu district, 11,389 including 11,245 recoveries and 137 deaths are from Udhampur, 11,125 including 10,867 recoveries and 236 deaths are from Rajouri, 7,673 including 7,487 recoveries and 131 deaths are from Doda, 9,287 including 9,135 recoveries and 151 deaths are from Kathua, 7,138 including 7,013 recoveries and 120 deaths are from Samba, 4,797 including 4,740 recoveries and 44 deaths are from Kishtwar, 6,335 including 6,227 recoveries and 97 deaths are from Poonch, 6,006 including 5,931 recoveries and 67 deaths are from Ramban and 6,490 including 6,401 recoveries and 43 deaths are from Reasi.
As per the daily information bulletin 3,398,646 persons in Jammu and Kashmir are under observation while 8,693 persons have been kept under home quarantine besides that 1,247 persons are in isolation.
According to the bulletin, 2,919,216 persons have completed the surveillance period and 465,076 persons are under home surveillance besides that so far results of 13,984,660 samples are available. Out of 13,984,660 the number of samples tested negative stands at 13,657,670 while as 326,990 have tested positive, among them 1,247 persons are active, 321,329 persons have recovered and 4,414 persons have died.
