Coronavirus: JK logs 117 new cases

Srinagar, Sep 27: Jammu and Kashmir Monday witnessed 117 fresh positive cases taking the number of total active cases in the Union Territory to 1,513 while no death was reported in the UT in the last 24 hours.
With no more deaths, the death toll in the UT stands at 4,422 and 117 fresh positive cases reported on Monday pushed the tally of positive cases to 329,125.
Of the exact number of 329,125 cases, 205,403 are from Kashmir division and 123,722 from Jammu division.
Officials said that among 117 new cases, 62 belong to Kashmir division while as 55 are from Jammu division, adding that the total number of positive cases in Kashmir division have reached to 205,403 including 201,922 recoveries and 2,249 deaths while as total number of positive cases in Jammu division have reached to 123,722 including 121,268 recoveries and 2,173 deaths.
The officials said that the total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 1,513 including 1,232 from Kashmir division and 281 from Jammu division.
With 118 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached to 323,190 which is 98.20 percent of the total cases.
“Cases tested positive in J&K include 33 from Srinagar, 02 from Baramulla, 08 from Budgam, 05 from Pulwama, 03 from Kupwara, 01 from Anantnag, 08 from Bandipora, 02 from Ganderbal, 00 from Kulgam and 00 from Shopian in Kashmir division while as 55 from Jammu division include 05 from Jammu, 02 from Udhampur, 40 from Rajouri, 05 from Doda, 00 from Kathua, 00 from Samba, 01 from Kishtwar, 01 from Poonch, 01 from Ramban and 00 from Reasi,” officials disclosed.
Meanwhile, authorities on Monday said that no fresh cases of Mucormycosis popularly known as black fungus was reported in the UT and tally stands at 46.
As per officials figures, 74,113 positive cases including 839 deaths and 72,608 recoveries are from Srinagar, 24,286 including 282 deaths and 23,831 recoveries are from Baramulla, 23,561 including 23,209 recoveries and 207 deaths are from Budgam, 15,462 including 15,216 recoveries and 194 deaths are from Pulwama, 14,344 including 166 deaths and 14,150 recoveries are from Kupwara, 16,518 including 16,288 recoveries and 205 deaths are from Anantnag, 9,735 cases including 9,594 and 102 deaths are from Bandipora, 10,302 including 10,143 recoveries and 79 deaths are from Ganderbal, 11,476 including 11,339 recoveries and 117 deaths are from Kulgam and 5,606 including 5,544 recoveries and 58 deaths are from Shopian.
In Jammu division, 53,153 including 51,959 recoveries and 1,144 deaths are from Jammu district, 11,400 including 11,253 recoveries and 137 deaths are from Udhampur, 11,215 including 10,912 recoveries and 237 deaths are from Rajouri, 7,762 including 7,557 recoveries and 133 deaths are from Doda, 9,293 including 9,137 recoveries and 151 deaths are from Kathua, 7,148 including 7,022 recoveries and 120 deaths are from Samba, 4,813 including 4,761 recoveries and 44 deaths are from Kishtwar, 6,348 including 6,243 recoveries and 97 deaths are from Poonch, 6,019 including 5,940 recoveries and 67 deaths are from Ramban and 6,571 including 6,484 recoveries and 43 deaths are from Reasi.
As per the daily information bulletin 3,527,982 persons in Jammu and Kashmir are under observation while 6,911 persons have been kept under home quarantine besides that 1,513 persons are in isolation.
According to the bulletin, 3,051,453 persons have completed the surveillance period and 463,683 persons are under home surveillance besides that so far results of 14,709,798 samples are available. Out of 14,709,798 the number of samples tested negative stands at 14,380,673 while as 329,125 have tested positive, among them 1,513 persons are active, 322,190 persons have recovered and 4,422 persons have died.
