Bandipora, Oct 16: A 32-year old woman was killed in a road accident that took place in Guroora village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Saturday evening, officials said.
Officials said that a tractor hit and critically wounded a woman identified as Shakeela Begum, wife of Imtiyaz Ahmad Mir in Guroora village.
They said that the injured was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
“After legal medical formalities, the body was handed over to her family while police have registered a case and initiated proceedings,” the officials said. (KNO)
