Srinagar, Nov 8: Senior leader and former MLA Shangus Advocate Abdul Majid Mir joined Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday.
Advocate Majid Mir was welcomed into the party fold by the PDP President Mehbooba Mufti and other senior party leaders.
Welcoming Advocate Khan into the party PDP President expressed hope that his joining would provide a major boost in strengthening the party at the grassroot level.
On the occasion, Ex MLA Shangus Abdul Majid Mir said that the leadership and ideology of PDP inspired him to be part of the party that is representing the aspirations and sentiments of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. (KNT)
