Coronavirus: 3 deaths, 108 new cases in JK

Srinagar, Nov 15: Jammu and Kashmir Monday witnessed three deaths and 108 fresh positive cases taking the number of total active cases in the Union Territory to 1,517.
With three more deaths, the death toll in the UT stands at 4,453 and 108 fresh positive cases reported on Monday have pushed the tally of positive cases to 334,288.
Of the exact number of 334,288 cases, 209,659 are from Kashmir division and 124,629 from Jammu division. Officials said that among 108 new cases, 89 belong to Kashmir division while as 19 are from Jammu division, adding that the total number of positive cases in Kashmir division have reached to 209,659 including 206,091 recoveries and 2,274 deaths while as total number of positive cases in Jammu division have reached to 124,629 including 122,227 recoveries and 2,179 deaths
The officials said that the total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 1,517 including 1,294 from Kashmir division and 223 from Jammu division.
With 103 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 328,318 which is 98.21 percent of the total cases.
“Cases tested positive in J&K include 40 from Srinagar, 19 from Baramulla, 04 from Budgam, 00 from Pulwama, 06 from Kupwara, 04 from Anantnag, 04 from Bandipora, 11 from Ganderbal, 01 from Kulgam and 00 from Shopian in Kashmir division while as 19 from Jammu division include 07 from Jammu, 00 from Udhampur, 00 from Rajouri, 02 from Doda, 00 from Kathua, 00 from Samba, 00 from Kishtwar, 04 from Poonch, 00 from Ramban and 06 from Reasi,” officials disclosed.
Meanwhile, authorities on Monday that no fresh cases of Mucormycosis popularly known as black fungus was reported in the UT and tally stands at 49.
As per officials figures, 76,409 positive cases including 857 deaths and 74,901 recoveries are from Srinagar, 24,931 including 284 deaths and 24,386 recoveries are from Baramulla, 24,005 including 23,680 recoveries and 209 deaths are from Budgam, 15,530 including 15,323 recoveries and 194 deaths are from Pulwama, 14,577 including 166 deaths and 14,336 recoveries are from Kupwara, 16,635 including 16,413 recoveries and 205 deaths are from Anantnag, 9,893 cases including 9,738 and 104 deaths are from Bandipora, 10,572 including 10,390 recoveries and 79 deaths are from Ganderbal, 11,498 including 11,374 recoveries and 117 deaths are from Kulgam and 5,609 including 5,550 recoveries and 59 deaths are from Shopian.
In Jammu division, 53,446 including 52,213 recoveries and 1,148 deaths are from Jammu district, 11,424 including 11,283 recoveries and 137 deaths are from Udhampur, 11,292 including 11,044 recoveries and 237 deaths are from Rajouri, 7,900 including 7,745 recoveries and 133 deaths are from Doda, 9,339 including 9,179 recoveries and 152 deaths are from Kathua, 7,162 including 7,032 recoveries and 120 deaths are from Samba, 4,821 including 4,776 recoveries and 44 deaths are from Kishtwar, 6,506 including 6,390 recoveries and 98 deaths are from Poonch, 6,049 including 5,979 recoveries and 67 deaths are from Ramban and 6,690 including 6,586 recoveries and 43 deaths are from Reasi.
As per the daily information bulletin 4,093,947 persons in Jammu and Kashmir are under observation while 5,304 persons have been kept under home quarantine besides that 1,517 persons are in isolation.
According to the bulletin, 3,645,347 persons have completed the surveillance period and 437,326 persons are under home surveillance besides that so far results of 16,873,966 samples are available. Out of 16,873,966 the number of samples tested negative stands at 16,539,678 while as 334,288 have tested positive, among them 1,517 persons are active, 328,318 persons have recovered and 4,453 persons have died.
