Satish Sharma tours Lal Chowk Constituency

Jammu, Nov 15: To ensure effective implementation of flagship and other government schemes at the grassroots level, district administrations of the UT will launch a public outreach campaign to raise awareness and highlight the schemes being implemented to empower the common man.
The 10-point campaign shall give a renewed push to the implementation of employment and other beneficiary oriented schemes. The objective of the campaign is to achieve quantifiable results within specific timelines, in an effort to touch the lives of ordinary citizens at grassroots level.
The overarching campaign shall include targeted delivery of health insurance among the rural population, quantifiable panchayat-wise self employment, installation of functional household tap water connection to eight lac houses, besides mass public programmes to facilitate Jan Bhagidhari by making government processes more transparent, easily accessible, to encourage people’s participation in development process and corruption-free, clean governance. The mission mode programme shall also include making Swachhta a mass movement in the villages as well as municipal limits, and shall target plantation activities in all panchayats.
The focal points around which the campaign shall run includes:
Aapki Zameen Aapki Nigrani: Targeted campaigns will run in villages to ensure all landholders are able to access their land records. The campaign will also focus on empowering people and cleaning up records for future, besides removal of encroachments and illegal entries by addressing complaints in a time bound manner.
Yogyata Se Rojgar Mahotsav: It shall focus on celebrating merit by felicitating newly appointed Class-IV persons at Panchayat level. Highlighting their stories to motivate youths and to enable them to learn from successful candidates.
Janta Ki Scheme-Janta ki Bhagidari: It will be focused on improving access to BEAMS-EMPOWERMENT, a simple process of seeing online details of all ongoing works in an area/village, to inform and solicit people’s participation in overall development process and corruption-free clean governance. The idea would be to make government processes more transparent at the grassroots level and enable people to check the progress of projects on ground.
One Person One Golden Cards: Distribution of 58 lac Golden cards will be targeted by organizing camps at Panchayat level within two months. The aim is to cover the poor families from rural background and insure them with financial support in case of health emergencies.
Har Ghar Nal Se Jal: It will involve calling all stakeholders through ISAs/other government offices for installation of functional household tap water connection to eight lac houses within one month by converting it into a mass programme.
Berojgar Se Swa-Rojgar: Targeted campaign to identify and provide self employment to at least 5 persons in every Panchayat and overall two lac new persons in the entire UT. It will include financial support and skilling as part of the process.
Har Kam Ki Shuruat: It would be ensured that 100% tender allotment is done within a month with respect to identified works in the District Plan.
Har Gaon Swachh Gaon: Renewed Swachhata Campaign in all villages by enhancing implementation of Village Action Plan prepared during October for Solid and Liquid waste management, as well as improving implementation of door to door Solid Waste Collection in all wards of 78 ULBs.
Har Gaon Hariyali: Green J&K drive covering every village under One Beat Guard, One Village program and a crore of plantation, targeting all Panchayats.
Har Ghar Dastak: Campaign to cover all unvaccinated cases, besides ensuring sensitization regarding importance of CAB, and masks.
