JKRLM’s 5 day Training on Entrepreneurship Development concludes

Srinagar, Nov 19: A five day –long entrepreneurship Development (ED) Training for Nonfarm livelihood Community Resource persons (NFL-CRPs) promoted under Jammu Kashmir Rural Livelihoods Mission (JKRLM) Concludes here at the state office of JKRLM.
The training organized by JKRLM had the participation of 40 NFL-CRPs across Jammu and Kashmir.
Speaking on the concluding function, Mission Director Jammu Kashmir Rural Livelihoods Mission (JKRLM) Dr. Syed Sehrish Asgar said that the Training of Trainers (ToT) has been organized with an attempt to create a pool of Community Resource persons (CRPs). These selected NFL-CRPs will provide last mile support at the doorsteps of the potential rural entrepreneurs.
Adding further the Mission Director said that the NFL- CRPs are selected from the community where in the Umeed programme is being implemented as they understand the local context and are familiar with the business ecosystem of their respective blocks. These NFL-CRPs will play an important role for orientation of Community Based organizations (CBOs) on enterprise development, market linkage, and handholding support to entrepreneurs.
She briefly spelled out the seriousness of the five day long ED training programme which will equip the NFL-CRPs legal compliance required for setting up of an enterprise and also upgrading their existing livelihoods into higher order enterprise. The NFL-CRPs will facilitate exposure to the entrepreneurs related to various marketing platforms like Sara’s Fairs, e-marketing, on boarding of products on various marketing sites including Gem-Portal.
In the course of five day training programme w.e.f November 15 to Nov 19, 2021, various resource persons specialized in the field of marketing, branding, value addition, finance, accounting and various other components required to develop and hone entrepreneurial traits imparted an extensive course to the Training of Trainers.
