“The contribution of women folk can never be overlooked as they play a vital part in building a strong and prosperous society. Therefore, it is highly vital that their representation is equitable in all the socio-economic and political spheres. Apni Party also remains committed for its promises made with the women folk of J&K and our Women Wing is persistently working on grassroots level for the resolution of their grievances,” he said.
Mohammad Ashraf Mir impressed on the women leaders and party workers to make requisite efforts for strengthening its party cadres via involving women folk in the political process in order to augment their valuable suggestions for the betterment of J&K.
Speaking at the meeting, Apni Party Provincial President Women Wing Dilshad Shaheen also said that they will fight for the rights of the women and their political empowerment in J&K so that the emancipation of women can be carried out in an efficient manner.
“Political representation of women in J&K has always remained minimal and no efforts were made to bolster women empowerment by the preceding governments.
