Shopian, Jan 21: A Wild Life team with the assistance of locals captured a bear in Chek Diaroo village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Locals had spotted the bear a couple of days ago and had informed the Wild Life Department.
Eyewitnesses said that the bear was captured today with much relief to the local population.
An official said that bear will be released in its habitat. (KNT)
