Srinagar, Apr 18: The residents of various localities of Srinagar Monday complained of unscheduled power cuts during Sehri in the ongoing holy month of Ramadhan.
Inhabitants of Hawal, Noorbagh, Qamarwari, Kawdara, Batamaloo, Mehjoor Nagar, Sonwar said that the power cuts had become more frequent especially at Sehri timing.
Senior Journalist and Columnist Yousuf Jameel took to Twitter and wrote :As has been a routine in the past many days, power supply snapped in our area-may be in many other Valley parts as well, in the middle of Sehri time.”
A local from Sarai Bala Srinagar said that from past week, there is always power cut during sehri time. “Its really annoying,” he added.
People appeal to Power Development Department to look into the matter. (KNT)
