Budgam, Apr 27: Dilapidated roads in Budgam have angered people with commuters urging the concerned department to macadamise the roads.
These include Nasrullahpora road, Graind, Laden, Chadoora to Branwar, Chadoora to Nilnag, Zinpanchal to Chararipora, Repora to Yarikalan, Bugroo to Doodhpathri road etc.
They said that the above roads have not been repaired for long and it consumes time to commute on the roads. Even walking by foot is a challenging task on the roads.
“Driving on these roads causes our vehicles to break down and hence incurring losses. Also, it is risky to travel due to fear of accidents,” said locals while appealing district commissioner Budgam Syed Shahbaz Mirza to take steps so that the damaged roads are macadamized.
