Srinagar, May 30: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Monday met scores of individuals, public delegations, and party functionaries at party headquarters in Srinagar.
According to a statement, several public delegations from Srinagar, Baramulla, and Poonch districts called on the AP president to apprise him about their grievances, and the issues that people in their areas are facing.
Bukhari assured the visiting delegation that their grievances would be brought to the notice of the administration for speedy redressal.
“The main objective of Apni Party is to ensure the wellbeing of J&K people. We will not leave any stone unturned to ensure steady development of the UT and empowerment of its people,” he said.
Besides the public delegation from Srinagar’s Maisuma, Abi Guzar, and Nowhatta areas, a delegation of party functionaries from Uri also met AP President.
This party delegation was headed by party’s provincial president ST Wing Rafeeq Bloute.
The other members of the delegation were Hameed ul Rehman, Muneer Ahmad, Syed Shuhaab ud Din, and others. They discussed party issues with the president and informed him about the present political scenario in their areas.
Bukhari asked JKAP functionaries to gear up their political activities and ensure they reach out to the people on the grass-root level.
“I am saying this time and again that common people have a lot of expectations with the Apni Party. We must be in touch with the people and try to bring their issues and grievances to the notice of the concerned officials. We ought to help the people to ensure their grievances and problems are addressed and solved,” he said.
