Mission Director ICPS visits Bandipora

Bandipora, Jul 5: The Mission Director ICPS and Women Empowerment, Harvinder Kour Tuesday visited Bandipora and chaired a meeting of officials of ICPS, MSK and Women Welfare here.
Accompanied by other senior officers, she also took on spot assessment of the functioning of these offices.
The officials of respective units of ICPS and Women Empowerment apprised the chair in detail about the achievements made so far by the respective units besides the issues being faced by them.
Hailing the role of officials for making progress on women and child welfare in the district, she enjoined upon them to work in consonance with the guidelines so that better outcomes are delivered.
Impressing upon the stakeholders to work in synergy, the Mission Director assured every possible assistance for making all units effective, robust and vibrant.
The meeting was attended by District Child Protection Officer, Ubaid Ul Khazir and officials of District Child Protection Unit, Child Welfare Committee, Juvenile Justices Board,One Stop Centre for Women, Mahila Shakti Kendra, and other concerned.
Later, the MD visited OSC, CCI, and CBRC proposed sites, where she took stock of the ongoing developmental works with regards to infrastructure.
