Don’t allow minors to drive

The road accidents continue to claim the lives of people including pedestrians, motorcyclists and others while the immediate measures are necessary at this juncture to reduce the number of such incidents. However, it has been observed that minor boys and girls, who are not even entitled to get licenses, could be seen riding the two-wheelers and four-wheelers as well. But, the parents seem ignorant to take proper care of the children by allowing them to ride or drive the vehicles. Such negligence has also led to the loss of lives on the roads. In one such assistance, the court has recently sentenced a man to three-year imprisonment for allowing his minor son to drive his vehicle. The men in blue on the ground have been continuously seizing the vehicles of such norm violators, but until and unless the people will not get ready to follow the rules, the situation is not going to change. At this juncture, the time calls for curb the minors from driving and riding the vehicles so that the precious lives of theirs and those on the roads could be saved. The parents need to act stringently in this regard to create a civic sense among their children. The schools also cannot run away from such a grave issue and the management needs to create awareness among the students to make them understand that driving without a license could prove fatal to them as well as to others. Everyone has the responsibility and must play their role to ensure that the minors are not allowed to drive the vehicles in any way.
