Srinagar, Aug 13: Art Of Living Kashmir Saturday organised free medical camp in association with Chief Medical Officer Srinagar at Mini Maternity Hospital Noorbagh. The camp was attended by 700 patients and facilitated by specialist doctors, physicians, gynaecologists, child specialist, psychiatrist, and councillors.
The Art of Living Foundation is a volunteer-based non-governmental organization. It was founded in 1981 by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
The Art of Living Foundation has centers in more than 156 countries.
As the founder of Art Of Living Sri Sri Ravi Shankar says “A disease-free body, quiver-free breath, stress-free mind, inhibition-free intellect, obsession-free memory, ego that includes all and soul which is free from sorrow is the birthright of every human being.”
Vandana Daftari the Regional Director of Art Of Living Srinagar said that for a healthy nation and healthy society, a healthy mind and physically fit body is paramount and in accordance with that this free medical camp was organised to make the facilities available to needy.
