Anantnag, Aug 12: A cop was injured after militants fired upon a patrolling party in the Bijbehara area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday.
Police said that militants fired upon joint naka party of police and CRPF in Bijbehara area of #Anantnag.
In this incident, one police personnel got injured who was immediately evacuated to the hospital for treatment.
Police said that area was cordoned off shortly after the incident and a search operation was launched to nab the attackers.
The injured policeman has been identified as Ghulam Qadir. (KNT)
