Srinagar, Dec 17: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested a drug peddler in Ganderbal and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
“A police party led by SHO Police Station Ganderbal under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Ganderbal during cordon and search operation at Gadoora recovered crushed Cannabis with seeds like substance from a Tin Shed of Ab Majeed Bhat son of Gh Mohamad Bhat resident of Baran Pattan A/P Gadoora. The accused has been arrested for his involvement in the commission of crime and shifted to police station where he remains in custody,” a police spokesman said in a statement.
Accordingly, police said that a case under FIR number 334/2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Ganderbal and further investigation has been taken up.
