Er Aijaz kick-starts work on mega Production Well at Balhama

Srinagar, Apr 15: BJP leader DDC member for Khonmoh Er today kick-started the work on mega water project—Production Well to be constructed at the whopping amount of Rs 4.90 Crore at Balhama area of Srinagar that will cater to the water needs of nearby areas including Zafran Colony.
Er Aijaz said the project was the first of its kind in district Srinagar to be set up at the huge amount of Rs 4.90 Crore. He said the project is covered under Centrally Sponsored Scheme —Jal Jevan Mission to be accomplished by Jal Shakti Department.
Er Aijaz while speaking on the occasion said that once the project is completed, it will cater to the water needs of entire Balhama and its nearby areas including Zafran Colony and Bag-e-Zaina areas. He said that there had been a long demand of the locals that there has to be a Production Well that would cater to the water needs of the not just Balhama area but to Zafran Colony and its adjoining areas.
He said that the government at the Centre is committed to provide drinking water right at the door steps of the people. The BJP leader said that the Jal Shakti department has started the work on the project and it will be completed within the shortest possible time. He said the well is third in the area but largest among all. The locals of the area including Balhama and Zafran Colony hailed the commitment and efforts of Er Aijaz for pursuing the issue of establishing the production well in the area. They said that with the intervention of the young BJP leader, the area will get clean drinking water through pipes right in their homes. Er Aijaz while speaking on the occasion said that he and his party is committed to work for the people and serve them by fulfilling their all demands.
