Kupwara, Apr 19: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Dr. Doifode Sagar Dattatray who is also Chairman of District Red Cross Committee Kupwara Wednesday distributed food Kits among the poor and needy families at DC Office complex, here.
Around 400 Food kits were distributed among the poor, needy families, widows, destitute and orphans from the District Red Cross Fund.
Food kits contained food items, eatables, spices and edible oil.
Vice Chairman, District Development Council Kupwara, Haji Farooq Mir, Additional Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Gh. Nabi Bhat was present on the occasion.
