Baramulla, Jun 7: Kashmir has witnessed a “massive change and a peaceful atmosphere” after 30 years; however, a few political parties are not happy with the “development” here, BJP MP Ghulam Ali Khatana said on Wednesday.
Interacting with the media persons here, Khatana said, “Kashmir has witnessed a massive change; youth, in particular, are with development and soon will be part and parcel of the country’s development. Kashmiri youth want peace.”
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership has given a new direction to the country in the field of development, national security, international politics, rural development, foreign affairs, etc. India has achieved new heights and innovative ideas like Make in India, startups, implementation of ‘One Nation One Country’, borders have been secured, and corruption has become a history now,” Khatana said.
The Member Parliament, who was accompanied by J&K Waqf Board Chairperson Darakshan Andrabi, further said that people are now using 5G internet services which otherwise was “a mere a dream during the Congress tenure due to multiple scams and frauds related to 2G”.
“Children in every village and town are taking online classes now,” he added.
