Kathua, Jul 4: Two youth hailing from Dalhousie area of Himachal Pradesh drowned in Ranjit Sagar Dam at Basholi area of Kathua district on Tuesday evening.
The duo was reportedly taking bath in the dam when they drowned following which police and teams of State Disaster Response Force reached at the spot and started a major rescue operation, an official said.
The duo has been identified as Sahil (19) and Gagan (20).
The officials said that the rescue operation was on when the report was last filed. (KNO)
