Rajouri, Jul 29: The police during routine naka checking at Ghambir Mughlan intercepted a Tata Mobile vehicle bearing registration No. JK11E-7314. The vehicle was found to be loaded with three bovine animals and was en route to Poonch without any permission from the District Magistrate.
Upon discovering this illegal transportation, prompt cognizance was taken by the authorities, and immediate action was initiated. The SHO Abrar Khan and his team, under the supervision of SDPO Zafar Rather and SSP Amrit Pal Singh, resulted in the successful rescue of the animals. The operation not only halted the transportation of the bovine animals but also ensured the animals’ safety and well-being.
The seizure of the vehicle and the rescue of the animals mark a significant achievement for the local police, highlighting their commitment to enforcing the law and maintaining the welfare of animals.
