Rajouri, Aug 24: A decomposed body was found in Manjakote area in Rajouri district, officials said on Thursday.
They said that the body was found lying in Panchayat Naili drain in Manjakote by some passersby who accordingly informed the police about it.
“Soon after a police team reached the site and took the body into its possession”, they said.
The police said that they are ascertaining the identity of the deceased.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been set into motion.
