Srinagar, Sep 9: Jammu and Kashmir Power Employees and Workers United Front (J&KPEWUF) Saturday staged and demanded the release of their pending salaries and also their regularization and promotion as well.
Scores of members from J&KPEWUF assembled at Srinagar’s press enclave and raised slogans in favour of their demands.
Speaking to the media here, the protesters, said the government has made promises with them with regard to their regularization, but unfortunately nothing has been done in this regard as the services of not even a single person have been regularized so far.
“Interestingly, no one has been promoted by the government as promised. We urged the government to fulfill our demands and release the pending salaries and regularize our services,” they said.
