Srinagar, Oct 23: Senior Congress leader Dr Karan Singh has written to the Indian National Congress (INC) President, Mallikarjun Kharge, seeking his removal as member of newly constituted Executive Committee of Jammu & Kashmir.
In a letter, Dr Karan Singh has sought removal of his name from the list of executive committee members constituted on October 19, 2023, saying that he has not been active in State politics for several years.
“I see that my name has been included in the Executive Committee of the newly reconstituted Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee. As you know, I have not been active in State politics for several years. I, therefore, request that my name be deleted from the list,” the letter reads.
Pertinently, INC has constituted various committees for Jammu & Kashmir on October 19, which include Executive Committee, Senior Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents and others.
