Rising Cyber threats in J&K

In yet another instance of bringing a respite to the employees, the government in Jammu and Kashmir has finally decided to enhance the monthly remuneration for supporting staff associated with the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA). It has been observed that the supporting staff, casual labourers, daily wagers are working with dedication in the different department in Jammu and Kashmir, but have never been considered at par with the regular employees, despite putting their sweat and blood for pushing the Union Territory at the top in every aspect and in every sector. The decision taken by the government to enhance the monthly remuneration for supporting staff associated with the MGNREGA is a step towards the commitment of the incumbent administration with the employees. The administration while announcing the decision has made it clear that it is committed to the well-being of all the staff and their families. While the long-standing demand of MGNREGA staff has been fulfilled, the government should look into the miseries of the daily wagers and other casual labourers also, so that their long pending demand is also fulfilled. The time has come when the promises done with them by the successive regimes need to be fulfilled so that the poor employees will heave a sigh of relief. The poor employees serving in different departments should be identified and regularized simultaneously so that their families too will not face hardships in the future. In the first instance, there is a need to enhance their monthly honorarium also so that they can meet the daily needs of the family.
