Man clears traffic on busy Sgr road to make way for ambulance

Srinagar, Mar 19: In a heart-warming display of compassion and humanity, a video of a selfless act has gone viral on various social media platform, Facebook.
The video shows an unknown man, dashing ahead of an ambulance stuck in traffic near Qamarwari Chowk, desperately beckoning to drivers to make room for the emergency vehicle.
A video possibly shot by the ambulance driver, records the man’s efforts as he runs ahead of the ambulance from Qamarwari to Noor Bagh Chowk, trying to ensure a clear path through the congested road stretch.
He can be seen tirelessly running and clearing the way on the road stretch, allowing the ambulance to move through the jam-packed vehicle road.
The person’s generous efforts have sparked appreciation from netizens and the general public alike, with many praising his fast thinking and altruism in a difficult situation.
A facebook user, while commenting on his action wrote that, “This man is a gem. May Allah bless him with his choicest blessings.”
Another FB user wrote, “love and respect. This is the real hero at ground zero”.
The viral video is available on social media and has already garnered over 8 Lac views, with over 9.5K shares and over 570 comments on Facebook.
Shabir Ahmad, a Srinagar resident praised the unknown man’s act and said in a time when acts of kindness are often overlooked, this demonstration serves as a reminder of the power of compassion and communal spirit.
He stated that as the video continues to circulate on social media platforms, the act serves as evidence of the influence that individual efforts may have in reducing emergency situations and potentially saving lives.
