Baramulla, Oct 21: Nehru Yuva Kendra Monday organised an awareness programme on drug abuse and illicit trafficking under the banner of Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyaan at Baramulla.
The event aimed to educate and sensitize students as well as youth club members about the dangers of drug abuse, its impact on individuals and society and the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle.
The event was graced by the presence of Deputy Director NYK Tajamul Ara and other dignitaries also delivered a lecture about drug abuse substance.
The programme succeeded in creating awareness about the Volunteers and youth club members about the adverse effects of drug abuse and the importance of making healthy life choices.
