Srinagar, Nov 7: National Conference leader and MLA for Gulmarg Farooq Shah Thursday said that the resolution was the reflection of people’s aspirations as it was passed by the majority of the members. He questioned BJP’s uproar and resentment over the resolution.
“We fulfilled the party’s commitment as promised in the party manifesto. The Speaker assured the BJP that they will be given time to speak, but they refused and instead stormed into the well damaging the credibility of this sacred institution,” Farooq Shah said.
Shah said that everybody must respect the sanctity of the institution and not create unnecessary hurdles in its proceedings. (KINS)
