Srinagar, Dec 26: The parliamentarian from Srinagar Lok Sabha constituency, Aga Ruhullah Mehdi on Thursday said that nobody is important before the career of the students, who staged a protest outside Chief Minister Omar Abdullah’s residence a few days back.
Ruhullah while replying to a query, told the media persons that the reservation, students and their career is more important than others including him.
Asked about Apni Party President Syed Altaf Bukhari’s statement over his protest, Rhullah said everyone is not planted like him. “He believes he is planted and everyone is planted,” he said.
Moreover, he said a DISHA meeting was held to review the progress of centrally sponsored schemes in Srinagar Lok Sabha constituency.
However, he added that some of the MLAs present in the Valley attended the meeting while some others, who were in Jammu couldn’t attend. (KNO)
