Bandipora, Dec 30: The Jammu and Kashmir Road Transport Corporation (JKRTC) bus service has resumed its original route from Sumbal to Jahangir Chowk, bringing much-needed relief to daily commuters. The service had previously been diverted to the Vijpara Hajin area but has now returned to its original route, enhancing convenience for Sumbal passengers traveling to Srinagar.
“As the only bus directly connecting Sumbal to Jahangir Chowk, this service is vital for students, employees, and patients who depend on public transport for their daily commute,” said a local from Nesbal Sumbal.
The Sonawari Citizen Council expressed its sincere gratitude to Showkat Ahmed Ahanger, JKRTC General Manager of Operations Kashmir, for his prompt action in restoring the service. [KNT]
