Srinagar, Jan 4: Senior Superintendent of Police Kulgam, Sahil Sarangal Saturday chaired a meeting at DPO Kulgam to review the implementation of Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems (CCTNS) and winter preparedness in the district.
During the meeting, the SSP reviewed the progress of CCTNS, a nationwide project aimed at creating a comprehensive and integrated system for tracking crimes and criminals. He directed officers/officials to accelerate the process of feeding legacy data and synchronise the same on daily basis so that transparent e-policing can be provided to the general public as envisaged under CCTNs project.
The meeting also focused on winter preparedness, with discussions on snow clearance, emergency response plans, and public safety measures. He emphasized the need for a prompt and coordinated response to public grievances.
The SSP emphasized the need for effective implementation of CCTNS and winter preparedness plans to ensure public safety and maintain law and order in the district.
The meeting was attended by Addl SP Kulgam, Addl SP NHW Qazigund, All SDPOs, SHOs, IC PPs, CCTNs operators of district Kulgam.
