DC reviews progress of key performance indicators under ADP at Kupwara

Kupwara, May 5: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan Monday convened a meeting of concerned officers at D.C Office Kupwara to review the progress of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) under Aspirational District Programme (ADP) for the ensuing Financial Year.
Addressing the meeting, DC stressed upon all the officers to work with added zeal and energy to gear up the progress of Key Performance Indicators under Aspirational District Programme.
She impressed upon them to work in close coordination to ensure saturation of various centrally sponsored schemes including Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana and other schemes.
On the occasion, DC set the targets upon various departments for saturation of these centrally sponsored schemes which will improve the overall results under the Aspirational District Programme.
The Rural Development Department Kupwara was directed to ensure cent percent coverage of Job Card holders under the Surkasha Bima Yojana which will protect the workers against financial losses resulting from accidents leading to death or disability.
Similarly, Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry and Sheep Husbandry departments will have to cover 5000 farmer beneficiaries each in the first instance to enroll them under Atal Pension Yojana aimed at providing a guaranteed minimum pension to the beneficiaries at the age of 60 years.
Lead District Manager Kupwara was asked to share the checklists with the respective departments, mentioning all the formalities of the schemes for proper enrollment of the beneficiaries.
The departments were directed to hold awareness cum enrollment camps along with banks for timely registration of the beneficiaries
DC enjoined upon the officers to ensure maximum coverage of these social security schemes which are targeted for the benefit and welfare of the population.
