Srinagar, May 14: In a first of its kind, a national Hindi Television Channel—Aaj Tak screened a film from the window screen of Kashmir Press Club here on Tuesday.
The film screened at Kashmir Press Club was based on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address to the Army soldiers at Admanpora in Punjab in which he boosted the morale of forces in the retaliatory action against Pakistan over the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, 2025, that left 26 people, mostly tourists dead.
The Hindi National Television Channel also became the first to screen a live program from Delhi studio at the commercial hub Lal Chowk, adjacent to the famous clock tower.
A sizable number of pedestrians watched the live discussions on the skirmishes of two countries—Indian and Pakistan.
This was for the first time that any news channel has streamed its live discussions directly from Delhi studio at the historic Lal Chowk in Srinagar.
Achieving the milestone, Aaj Tak has successfully undertaken a challenge to screen the live discussion at Lal Chowk and create awareness among the masses on various aspects during the discussion.
The success of the Indian Armed forces was highlighted during the discussion, which was appreciated and lauded by the attendees.
