Srinagar, Jun 15: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has forecasted intermittent rain and thundershowers across Jammu and Kashmir during the next several days.
Director MET Dr Mukhtar Ahmad said, brief spells of rain or thundershowers accompanied by gusty winds are expected at isolated to scattered locations between June 15 and 20, mostly during the afternoon or late afternoon hours.
For the period from June 21 to 23, the weather is likely to remain generally cloudy with intermittent rain or thundershower spells at many places.
In its advisory, the MET department has stated, “Farmers are advised to continue farm operations,” indicating no major disruption to agricultural activities during this period. (JKNS)
