BJP reviews preparations for Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee’s birth anniversary in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jul 5: J&K BJP General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul Friday chaired an important meeting at the party office in Srinagar to review and discuss preparations for the upcoming birth anniversary of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee, scheduled to be observed on July 6.
During the meeting, Ashok Koul emphasized the significance of Dr. Mookerjee’s contribution to national integration and his historic role in the context of Jammu & Kashmir. He called upon party workers to ensure meaningful and respectful commemoration across the Valley.
District President Adv. Sheikh Salman and BJP Spokesperson Altaf Thakur were also present in the meeting. The leaders discussed planned events, including tributes, awareness programs, and outreach initiatives to highlight Dr. Mookerjee’s ideology and legacy among the youth and the general public.
Koul urged all district units and Morchas of the party to mobilize maximum participation and maintain discipline and coordination in the scheduled programs.
The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to uphold the ideals of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee and make the upcoming observance a reflective and inspiring event.
