Bandipora, Nov 29: Bharatiya Janata Party’s general secretary for Jammu and Kashmir Ashok Koul on Monday said statehood will be restored when a common Kashmiri will be able to move freely without any fear and when selective killings would end.
Taking to media persons here at Bandipora, the senior BJP leader said that once the situation in Jammu and kashmir will improve and the selective killings will come to an end besides a common kashmiri will move freely here, the statehood would be restored.
“Our Prime Minister and Home Minster have also assured that the statehood will be restored in J&K while the BJP party is also in support of the demand,” he said. “This will be restored.
Asked about the delimitation process, before March, he said that the commission will submit its report soon under which the 90 seats will be distributed in JK after which polls will be held.
About civilians killing, he said that in selective killing, the BJP leaders are being killed here, while the non-Muslims are also on target. “We are against it as no religion allows to do the same.
Koul said that he was in Bandipora to review the party’s three-month performance and chalk out goals for next three months.
