Mysterious light in air triggers panic in Rajouri, Poonch

Rajouri, Dec 3: A mysterious long-trail of light in the air in parts of Rajouri and Poonch districts of Jammu region Friday spread panic among the local people with security forces on toes to find out what the twinkling object in the sky was all about.
Eye witnesses and official sources said that in the parts of Mendhar area of Poonch district and above Thandikassi near Rajouri town, a long trail of mysterious light was seen in the sky. Many people captured it in their mobiles, the eye-witnesses said.
“Such kind of object has been seen for the first time in the areas and people are in a state of panic,” the eye-witnesses said.
Officials said that security forces are maintaining high alert in Rajouri and Poonch districts and are working hard to ascertain what the long line of mysterious light was all about. (KNO)
