Poonch, Dec 18: Body of a young woman, roughly aged 35 years, was found at Drungli river near stone crusher at Poonch on Saturday, officials said.
They said that some passersby spotted the body and informed police. Later a Police party from police station Poonch rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Mortuary room of District Hospital Poonch for identification and postmortem.
Confirming the recovery, a police official said that inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC have been initiated. (GNS)
