Delay in completion of projects

The years have passed since the government started construction work on different projects including hospitals, bridges and many more. However, the much-awaited projects have failed to bring respite to the people as there has been no end to the project with officials concerned failing to complete the projects on time. The projects worth crores of rupees have missed several deadlines in the past, thus bringing only miseries to the local populace, who have been keeping a close eye over the completion of the projects, which would ease their sufferings. Nonetheless, one fails to understand why the government, especially the concerned departments, don’t ensure the completion of the projects. The government has been making claims about the development in Jammu and Kashmir, but the people at the same time are being pushed to the wall in absence of the pivotal and much-needed projects. These projects were announced by the government for the wellbeing of the people, but the delay has only added to their miseries with concerned authorities taking no steps in this regard to put an end to the sufferings of people. These projects are incomplete across Jammu and Kashmir while the non-completion of hospitals has not only forced the patients to face hardships, but have overburdened the work of doctors, who have to tackle the rush of huge influx of patients at known hospitals here. There is a need to understand the sufferings of people as well as the government employees as well and the concerned departments must be directed to complete the pending projects forthwith so that the people here could heave a sigh of relief.
