Ganderbal, Feb 26: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Krittika Jyotsna Saturday chaired a meeting of heads of line departments to review the progress of works being executed under District Capex budget 2021-22, Area Development funds, B2V and other regular schemes in the district.
The meeting took sector wise review of projects being executed by R&B, PHE, PDD, I&FC, Education, Youth Services and Sports, Health, Urban development, RDD, besides works undertaken under B2V, DDC, BDC and PRI grants.
The DC sought details from all heads of departments about the Status of work wise tendering process, allotment of works, works started/ completed besides expenditure made till date.
While reviewing the issues hampering the pace of progress, Jyotsna asked ADDC to monitor the pace of progress on a regular basis and resolve the issues hampering the progress of several works at an earliest.
The DC laid thrust on speeding up the pace of execution to complete the works in a time bound manner. She also exhorted the concerned departments to remove bottlenecks to ensure the completion of works within the set timelines and directed the officers to put in best efforts for maximum utilization of funds under different schemes.
The meeting was attended by ADDC, Khurshid Ahmad Shah, CPO, Irfan Ahmad Giri, ACD, SE R&B, CEO, DPO, Executive Engineers of PHE, R&B, I&FC, PDD and other concerned officers.
