Coronavirus: JK reports 47 new cases

Srinagar, Mar 5: Jammu and Kashmir Saturday reported 47 fresh cases pushing the number of active cases to 380 while no death was reported in last 24 hours in the UT.
With no more death, the death toll in J&K stands at 4,749 and 47 fresh positive cases reported on Saturday have pushed the tally of positive cases to 453,214.
Officials said that among 47 new cases, 17 belong to Kashmir division while as 30 are from Jammu division, adding that the total number of positive cases in Kashmir division have reached to 287,147 including 284,537 recoveries and 2,423 deaths while as total number of positive cases in Jammu division have reached to 166,067 including 163,548 recoveries and 2,326 deaths.
The officials said that the total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 380 including 187 from Kashmir division and 193 from Jammu division.
With 79 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 448,085 which is 98.87 percent of the total cases.
“Cases tested positive in J&K include 06 from Srinagar, 03 from Baramulla, 03 from Budgam, 00 from Pulwama, 03 from Kupwara, 00 from Anantnag, 02 from Bandipora, 00 from Ganderbal, 00 from Kulgam and 00 Shopian in Kashmir division while as 30 from Jammu division include 18 from Jammu district, 02 from Udhampur, 01 from Rajouri, 02 from Doda, 01 from Kathua, 00 from Samba, 04 from Kishtwar, 00 from Poonch, 02 from Ramban and 00 from Reasi,” officials disclosed.
Meanwhile, authorities said that no fresh cases of Mucormycosis popularly known as black fungus was reported in the UT and the tally stands at 51.
As per officials figures, 102,267 positive cases including 907 deaths and 101,237 recoveries are from Srinagar, 37,595 including 304 deaths and 37,261 recoveries are from Baramulla, 34,806 including 34,561 recoveries and 237 deaths are from Budgam, 18,418 including 18,215 recoveries and 201 deaths are from Pulwama, 21,722 including 174 deaths and 21,539 recoveries are from Kupwara, 22,419 including 22,200 recoveries and 219 deaths are from Anantnag, 13,677 cases including 13,552 and 118 deaths are from Bandipora, 13,677 including 13,552 recoveries and 84 deaths are from Ganderbal, 16,313 including 16,187 recoveries and 119 deaths are from Kulgam and 6,304 including 6,243 recoveries and 60 deaths are from Shopian.
In Jammu division, 76,060 including 74,710 recoveries and 1,222 deaths are from Jammu district, 14,764 including 14,613 recoveries and 147 deaths are from Udhampur, 12,800 including 12,549 recoveries and 249 deaths are from Rajouri, 11,503 including 11,326 recoveries and 144 deaths are from Doda, 11,405 including 11,232 recoveries and 166 deaths are from Kathua, 9,083 including 8,956 recoveries and 125 deaths are from Samba, 5,884 including 5,834 recoveries and 46 deaths are from Kishtwar, 7,738 including 7,622 recoveries and 110 deaths are from Poonch, 8,129 including 8,055 recoveries and 69 deaths are from Ramban and 8,701 including 8,651 recoveries and 48 deaths are from Reasi.
As per the daily information bulletin 6,169,066 persons in Jammu and Kashmir are under observation while 32,012 persons have been kept under home quarantine besides that 380 persons are in isolation.
According to the bulletin, 5,678,995 persons have completed the surveillance period and 451,930 persons are under home surveillance besides that so far results of 23,493,354 samples are available. Out of 23,493,354 the number of samples tested negative stands at 23,040,140 while as 453,214 have tested positive, among them 380 cases are active, 448,085 have recovered and 4,749 persons have died.
