Congress ‘Diminishing’

It has been nearly eight years since the major mainstream national political party started losing elections in a massive way, thus the party has been finding it hard to gain the momentum again and come into power in the Centre as well as in the States. The Congress has ruled the nation for the period of nearly 60 years and was considered as the strongest podium to defeat every political party anywhere. However, the situation has changed on the ground and today’s poll verdict thrown by the people is ample proof that the party is diminishing from the ground and has been striving hard to survive. The people seem upset with the Congress’s tenure and the leadership, thus have been showing reluctance to ensure their victory in the past eight years. Today’s verdicts against Congress is an indication that it will not gain the ground in the upcoming 2024 parliamentary elections as the party has failed to emerge victorious from even one of the five States where assembly elections were held recently and results were declared Thursday. The party after facing a defeat in elections has decided to hold the meeting, but it is not going to change their situation as it is currently busy fighting each other rather than the opponents. The party, if continues with its present policies, the defeat in the future is obvious and there would be more massive embarrassment to the party in the near future.
