Govt Nursing College Baramulla observes International Forest Day

Srinagar, Mar 21: The Govt. Nursing College Baramulla observed “International Forest Day” on 21st March 2022. The teaching faculty, non-teaching staff and all the B.Sc. Nursing Ist Year students of Nursing college took part in this program. Various activities conducted by B.Sc. Nursing students were focused on the theme, “Forests and sustainable production and consumption and importance and benefits of afforestation”.
Various charts and posters were prepared and presented by various B.Sc. Nursing Ist Year students of Nursing college (Huzaifa Wani, Tabassum Kareem, Jasim Hussain, Qurat Ul Ain, Najuma Banoo) and explanation was also given on the basis of these A.V aids by the students like “trees are our best friends and if we want to breathe healthy in future then we must start planting more and more trees in order to save the earth”. Moreover students also took part in various speech competitions focused on the theme.
Lastly Academic Coordinator of Nursing college Arshid Nazir Shah forwarded the message like, ‘He who plants a tree, plants a hope’ and also shared that trees are most vital important for us to live in and there is need to regrow them at a more noteworthy rate then the rate at which they are destroyed”.
Also other teaching faculty Mir Uzma, Javaid Ah. Mir, Kouser Ul Islam and Afshana Qadir expressed their views focused on the theme. Event came to an end with the vote of thanks and refreshment.
