Kulgam, Mar 30: A 43-year-old man died during a scuffle with his father at Yaripora area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday, an official said.
An official said that a man identified as Zahoor Ahmad Wani, son of Ghulam Mohammad Wani from Manchoowa Yaripora fell unconscious during scuffle.
Zahoor was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital by locals, where the doctors declared him dead on arrival.
“The incident took place in the garden of Ghulam Mohammad Wani (father of deceased),” he said.
He said that a case under section 174 CrPc has been registered and investigation was set into motion.
“The cause of death will be ascertained only after post mortem is conducted,” the official added. (KNO)
