Srinagar, Apr 7: Unidentified gunmen on Thursday shot at a non-local driver at Yader area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Official sources said that the unidentified gunmen fired upon a non-local driver identified as Sonu Sharma, son of Banarasi Sharma of Pathankot.
He was immediately rushed to District Hospital Pulwama where he is undergoing treatment.
Meanwhile, the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
Moreover, police in a statement said that militants tried to fire upon one non-local namely Sonu Sharma, son of Banarasi Dass of Pathankot but due to the presence of security forces nearby their attempt had been foiled.
The said person has been taken to Pulwama hospital for medical examination. (KNO)
