Srinagar, Apr 23: A Special Police Officer (SPO) was electrocuted to death while another sustained injuries in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday.
Official sources said that two Special Police Officers received electric shock in District Police line Pulwama, who were shifted to hospital.
However, one among them was declared brought dead while condition of other is said to be stable, they said.
They identified the deceased as Javaid Ahmad Kumar, son of Mohammad Shafi Kumar of Chakoora Pulwama, a cook at the residence of DySP Headquarters while as injured was identified as Manzoor Ahmad Sheikh, son of Habibullah Sheikh of Chatpora Pulwama, working as sweeper at the residence of DySP headquarters.
